I photograph Genesis Contracting & Home Improvements renovation projects, and I believe if you use them for your next renovation, you will not be disappointed!! Every house that I have photographed is gorgeous.  KT is extremely detail oriented and will be sure that the home is ready to move right into with no issues at all. This last Baltimore home that I photographed for KT was gorgeous – I am including some photos. Every inch of it redone, the floor, the doors (even the door hardware), the kitchen and bathrooms with new appliances and plumbing fixtures and gorgeous tile.  He even added a bedroom and bathroom to the upper level, and the primary bedroom/bath was extraordinary!!  The front porch was redone, and the covered ceiling was redone as well. We contracted Genesis to finally fix our badly dilapidated rooftop deck and parapet wall. KT and all of the various crews we needed for this project were nothing short of amazing! We live in a historic neighborhood, so there was a ton of specific details that they had to pay attention to and they had all of it. Not only were we pleased with the work, but we have had multiple neighbors stop us on the street and talk about how great it looks and how well they did putting everything back together so that it looks how it should. I had a very positive experience! I needed work done on our property before Christmas and I scheduled my consultation/estimate 12/8. The work started 12/13 and was completed 12/18 (ahead of schedule) and not a single notch of quality was lost. We had the majority of our trim installed, caulked, and painted, interior doors installed, kitchen cabinet handles installed, and a ton of other little things. Previously our trim was just installed (and dirty) so the paint and caulk made a huge difference. We had a lot of small projects that added up to multiple days of work and we supplied the majority of materials ourselves, which Genesis had no problem with. They really worked with my vision and let me know which options would be more expensive so I could pick. The ENTIRE company has unbelievable customer service and responsiveness. Of course quality work will cost money  but it didn’t seem more expensive than other contractors in the area. Highly recommend.

The basement renovation ran from 90 days to over 180 days.  Howard county has a lot of regulations.  Genesis followed through to get it completed.  The cost is 25% more than the estimated amount.  I am glad that is completed.

Genesis contracting did some drywall work on the rental I live in. They went 2 days longer than told, they did not regularly update me about progress or the delays. The work they did was good, but two days I came home to their workers cleaning their equipment in my bathroom sink. They also told my landlord they were delayed because they had to move stuff and avoid my dog, which was not true. My dog was caged everyday and the things that were supposed to be moved for them to work were done as discussed. They also put a sign in my yard without my permission.
